Eileanan Glasa comprises a small group of islands situated in the Sound of Mull, approximately two nautical miles north-east of Salen. These islands are visible from the eastern coastline of Mull, including the area around Pennygown, forming a part of the scenic waters that separate Mull from the Scottish mainland.

A notable feature on Eileanan Glasa is a minor navigational light, often referred to as the Eileanan Glasa Lighthouse. This light, established in 1906 and modernized in 2001, is displayed from a white aluminium-clad skeletal tower. It emits a white flash every 6 seconds, with a focal plane of 11 metres and a range of 6 nautical miles, assisting vessels navigating the Sound of Mull.

Beyond its function as a navigational aid, the islands are part of the local marine environment. One of the specific rocks within the group is Dearg Sgeir, which is the northernmost point. Eileanan Glasa also holds historical significance as the site of the shipwreck of the SS Rondo in 1935.
