Gruline Standing Stone

The Gruline Standing Stone is a significant prehistoric monument located on the Isle of Mull, specifically in an arable field within the Gruline area. It stands approximately 665 meters WNW of Gruline House and about 120 meters east of the B8035 road, which runs from Salen to Kinloch. Its prominent position in the landscape makes it visible from the roadside, although it requires a short walk to reach.

This impressive monolith is a straight-sided stone, standing approximately 2.3 meters (over 7.5 feet) high. At its base, it measures about 0.8 meters by 0.25 meters.
