Iona Pods

Iona Pods offer a unique and cozy glamping experience situated on the tranquil Isle of Iona, on a small working croft. This distinctive accommodation provides a perfect base for exploring the island’s rich history and stunning natural beauty. Located with picturesque mountain views and within a short walk to Iona’s famous sandy beaches and the historic Iona Abbey, the pods seamlessly blend the comforts of a self-catering stay with the immersive feel of island life.

Each individual pod is thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and compact living space. Internally, they typically consist of a single open-plan area featuring a double bed and additional single beds, accommodating up to four guests. For convenience, the pods are equipped with basic self-catering amenities such as a kettle, fridge, microwave, electric hob, and essential kitchenware and cutlery. Power sockets and heating ensure a comfortable stay, allowing guests to relax and recharge after a day of island exploration.

Beyond the individual pods, Iona Pods provides well-maintained communal facilities to enhance the guest experience. These include clean and well-kept toilet and shower blocks, as well as dedicated washing-up areas. Laundry services are also available on site. Outside each pod, guests will find a picnic bench and a small fire pit, perfect for enjoying the peaceful evenings and the stunning island scenery.
