The Bunessan Inn

The Bunessan Inn, historically known as The Argyll Arms Hotel, is a venerable and newly refurbished establishment situated in the heart of Bunessan village on the Isle of Mull. Reputed to be over three centuries old, this inn carries a rich history, notably having hosted Dr. Samuel Johnson and James Boswell in 1773. Following extensive refurbishment and under new ownership, it reopened its bar and restaurant in June 2023, with its uniquely appointed guest bedrooms welcoming visitors from Easter 2024.
