Tobermory Evangelical Church is prominently situated on Main Street in Tobermory, on the picturesque Isle of Mull, Scotland. Constructed from durable Ross of Mull granite, the building itself boasts a rich history, having originally been erected in 1910 as the United Free Church. Its commanding position offers views over the harbour, making it a distinctive landmark within the town’s colourful facade.

The church building has undergone several transformations over its century-long existence. Initially serving the United Free Church congregation, it later became a knitwear factory in 1953 before being reacquired by the Free Church in 1964. In 1994, the Evangelical Church took stewardship of the premises, establishing the current Tobermory Evangelical Church. This history reflects the dynamic spiritual and social landscape of the island community through various eras.

As a registered charity (OSCR number SC037295), Tobermory Evangelical Church is committed to advancing the Christian faith through the worship of God, as revealed in the Bible. It serves as an active place of worship for both local residents and visitors to Tobermory, upholding its mission to provide spiritual guidance and community fellowship on the island. The church’s work extends to offering weekly messages and maintaining a visible presence within the local area.
