Aros Hall

Aros Hall stands as a historically significant and vibrant community hub nestled at the heart of Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull’s colourful main street. Built in the late 19th century and gifted to the community, it serves as a central point for a wide array of activities and events, ensuring year-round social engagement. The hall is a true cornerstone of village life, fostering connection and providing an essential space for collective enjoyment and community support.

This versatile venue offers extensive facilities designed to accommodate diverse functions, including a large main hall suitable for concerts, theatrical performances, and larger community gatherings, with a capacity for up to 150 seated or 250 standing. It also features a lower hall which houses a soft play facility, a well-equipped kitchen, and meeting spaces. Ongoing modernization projects, including heating system upgrades, window replacements, and the recent refurbishment of its popular “Rainydays” play area, continually enhance its functionality and appeal.

Aros Hall plays a pivotal role in enriching the cultural and social fabric of Tobermory and the wider island. It regularly hosts local events such as a weekly producers’ market, a lunch club, and the annual NOMADS panto and Mull Drama Festival.
