Assapol Lodge

Assapol Lodge is a secluded, modern cabin nestled on the shores of freshwater Loch Assapol, situated on a thriving working farm just one mile from the village of Bunessan. This unique property is designed as a tranquil escape for two, offering stunning views across the water and a private pier with direct access to the loch for wild swimming, paddling, or fishing.

The lodge features a small, perfectly formed open-plan living area that maximizes the loch views. A sweeping deck with a glass balcony offers an immediate outdoor seating and dining area, while the garden below includes a picnic bench and an atmospheric fire pit right by the water’s edge.

Inside, the living space includes a comfortable armchair and sofa, a Smart TV, and free Wi-Fi. The contemporary kitchen is compact but well-equipped, including an electric oven, hob, and a fridge with a freezer box. The single bedroom is a cozy double, and the bathroom features a good-sized shower cubicle. The lodge also includes a useful utility nook with a washing machine and dryer.

Its location is an ideal base for exploring the Ross of Mull, with the stunning white shell-sand beach at Kilvickeon only a few miles down the track, and the ferry to Iona accessible nearby at Fionnphort.
