Cherrybank Cottage

Cherrybank Cottage is an exceptional holiday home situated right beside the shoreline in Lower Ardtun, offering breathtaking sea views and stunning sunsets over Loch na Lathaich on the Ross of Mull. Designed for up to five guests, the cottage boasts a beautifully curated and furnished interior with calming coastal colours, original artwork, and no television to encourage a true disconnect. The property sits within a garden that slopes directly to the sea, providing excellent opportunities to spot seals, otters, and various seabirds.

The main living space is a large, open-plan area combining the kitchen, dining, and living rooms, featuring huge windows and a sliding door that opens onto a raised decking area that wraps around the front of the house. The kitchen is high-spec, equipped with an electric Everhot cooker and an induction hob. The accommodation includes three bedrooms (one ground-floor twin, one king-sized double upstairs, and a small upstairs double perfect for a single adult) and two contemporary shower rooms. A separate study/snug, complete with a wood-burning stove and a desk, provides a cosy retreat.

Located just under a mile from the village of Bunessan, the cottage is accessed via a private track leading down to the shore. While the cottage has no reliable mobile signal, it benefits from a fast fibre-optic Wi-Fi connection and a landline for emergencies. Its location is ideal for exploring Mull’s best sandy beaches and is only a fifteen-minute drive from Fionnphort, the departure point for trips to Iona and Staffa.
