The Hide at High Oatfield

The Hide at High Oatfield is a bespoke self-catering studio designed specifically for couples seeking a tranquil escape on the Isle of Mull. Positioned on an elevated site in Lochdon, this bijou retreat offers complete seclusion with spectacular views across the local landscape toward the mountains. The open-plan space is thoughtfully arranged to provide a high level of comfort within a compact and sustainable footprint.

Inside the studio, guests will find a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area featuring leather armchairs positioned to make the most of the three-metre-wide patio windows. The sleeping area contains a king-sized ottoman bed, while the en-suite bathroom includes a modern walk-in shower. Large sliding doors lead out to a private decking area, which is an ideal vantage point for spotting resident wildlife such as sea eagles, hen harriers, and red deer.

This pet-free and adult-only accommodation prioritises a quiet and intimate atmosphere for its guests. Access to the studio is via a set of steps from the dedicated parking space, and the property is situated approximately three miles from the nearest village. Please be aware that the site is not suitable for those with limited mobility and there are no facilities available for charging electric vehicles.
