Ulva Primary School

Ulva Primary School is a non-denominational, co-educational school situated close to Ulva Ferry, where a boat link connects to the charming Isle of Ulva itself. It is a very small school, typically catering to pupils from P1 to P7, with the current roll often being in single digits. The school operates with two classrooms, an office, and a small kitchen area. Despite its size, Ulva Primary fosters a remarkably welcoming and friendly ethos, which is the result of close cooperation between staff, a highly supportive Parent Council, and deep involvement from pupils, parents, and the wider community. This strong community engagement contributes significantly to the school’s positive atmosphere and supports the children’s learning and development.
